Change is coming.
Have you felt the hope that is springing up? It has been a year since I taught students face to face at my school. For me, I will be returning to teach them face to face soon while also teaching students at home on Zoom. This hybrid model of teaching is causing me to think about what is possible now with two thirds of our students coming into the school building. The excitement is building as I prepare to re-emerge into teaching at the school building which I have missed so much.
As I contemplated in prayer how I would navigate my upcoming new normal, the Holy Spirit has illuminated scripture which I want to share with you. I have created an acronym with the letters of the word POSSIBLE and shared it below.
I have loved the encouragement from the Scripture about how God does the equipping of us and gives us what we need to succeed allowing us to be supported by Him. He fills us with joy and peace so that we can overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. In our world filled with unknowns, I am thrilled to trust in God and seek Him in prayer and through study of His Word.
As I seek Him, he will add things to my life that I didn’t even know that I needed when I first prayed. He will do beyond what we can ask, think or imagine. Increasing in knowledge and wisdom from God is my goal so that I can overflow with hope and love for others. My prayer is that God would continue to cause me to accomplish his plans and purposes in my life, in my family, in my teaching job and in our world.
I hope that as you read the Scriptures below associated with each letter of the POSSIBLE acronym, you will be encouraged to contemplate what is possible as we begin a new chapter. Whatever your new chapter looks like, keep your eyes on Jesus, your heart aligned with our heavenly Father’s Will and your mind stedfast in hope. We can do this together. It is possible.
